Day 5 - SAHME

Busy day, we'll not really to the average person without kids. It was busy by our standards. We had a chill and relaxed morning at home. I did laundry, dishes, put in grades (yes worked), and cleaned up while the sweet little one slept. She is an excellent morning napper! Almost 2 sets of 2 hour naps, which means that I have a lot of free time on my hands.

After she woke up at 12, I tried feeding her...it was a no go. She wasn't hungry. In fact, she was down right upset that I was trying to feed her. This is something that is new that we are trying to figure out. Right now, she has been eating every 3 hours. Starting last week for me, she didn't want to eat every 3 hours. So, we are going to try and stretch it to 3.5 or 4 hours and see how she does. She's a super happy/content little girl so, we know she's full and has had enough to eat. With all this extra time on my hands, I have plenty of time to over analyze things....not good.

Since she didn't want to eat lunch, I decided that it was time to run errands. We went to the Post Office to mail Auntie Katie's birthday gift and a wedding present to my cousin. Then we swung by Sonic to grab Tim a drink. Tim has a huge chunck of time off in the afternoon, so Crosby and I like to go and visit him. We hung out with Tim for a while before his last class showed up. Keep in mind that it is now 1:45 and Crosby still hasn't eaten since 9:30.

On our way home I decided that it would be fun to stop to see Alishia. That didn't go as planned. Crosby was getting worked up (I thought hungry) so, I tried to feed again, NOTHING! Time to go! I put her in the car, and before I could even get down the street she was out like a light. She was SO TIRED. She tried to tell me.

As I type this, she's fast asleep in her car seat in the middle of the living room floor.

As you can see it was a busy day. I forgot to mention that we also practiced sitting in our bumbo chair and had plenty of tummy time. It's now only 3 pm and we have another hour before Tim gets home. Still more adventures to be had.

Until tomorrow...

Did/does your child favor one side over the other? Crosby tends to lean to the left.

Mollie leaned both ways. Now she just sits up straight!
