I'm Coming to Getcha!

Our Little Reader...

This little girl loves to read!

Nothing's Going to Stop Me Now - Love, Crosby

Hey there everyone! As you can see I have gotten very good at moving around. Mommy thought she was being tricky by catching me in the act, but I knew she was watching the whole time.

Hi Everyone!

Okay, I am ready to make my big move...

A quick stop to pick up something to chew...

You can't see me, but believe me I am very happy!

Ah, yes...just reaching for the jump-a-roo. Here I come tiger...

What's that violin, you want me to play another song...okay. Can you see my teething toy?

Folks, this takes practice. I am already a multi-tasker!

Must...get...book...

Ah ha! Here you are!

I am such a busy girl!

Toe of the Morning to Ya!

Well, Happy St. Patty's Day one and all. I am fairly sure we are not Irish, however isn't everyone just a little bit Irish today? We had an eventful day. No, we didn't celebrate with green beer and cabbage. Our St. Patrick's day looks a little bit different now.

Crosby started her day off with busting through her pjs.

Had a fun playtime with our play table.

Celebrated a sweet 4 year old's birthday at the park.

Grabbed some In and Out for lunch.

Sat in traffic on the way home from Dallas.

C napped.

Tim planted new shrubs in the front flower bed. (pics to follow)

We practiced walking while watching basketball.

Refinanced our mortgage.

Napped.

More basketball and playing.

Now Tim and I are relaxing, cheering on the Cyclones of Iowa State!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

1st Trip to the Dallas Zoo

Tim and I are on Spring Break this week and the weather was perfect for Crosby's first trip to
the Dallas Zoo. We met some friends for a day of fun!

We had to get the lay of the land. It was really nice to go with a family that had been there before, they knew where to go!

Daddy and Crosby looking at the Koi! This area was awesome, defiantly a great place for C in the future. Lots of fun thinks to look at and touch.

Crosby's first pony ride. Think she liked it?

Our happy little girl post lunch. Thanks Olivia for letting us borrow your hat!

My favorite wild animal!

J and C, neither one of them seemed to care that I was trying to capture a moment.

Not sure what was happening here, perhaps a traffic jam.

The girls on the tortoise.

Mommy, C and the National Bird. So majestic.

Off to the African Savanna! This was a must see.

This elephant was so much fun to watch.

Okay, I must admit, I took these to show my students an elephants trunk and the importance of adaptations.

The girls again. Can you see C? She is getting comfy.

Jeff up close and personal. (That's what we call C's wubanub/paci)

C took a brief (20 minute) siesta. She was super! A great first trip to the zoo!

The end of our time at the zoo.

Hey Mommy...I'm Up!

On the very day that I turned 9 months, I wanted to show mommy what I've been practicing late at night. Ta-Da! I can stand up in my crib all by myself. After mommy laughed, she told be to be still so she could take a few pictures for daddy. I am so proud of myself!

twinsies!

I think these two are two peas in a pod! Twinsies for sure!

hey y'all - love, Crosby

Hey Everyone! Mommy thought it would be a good idea to update you all on what's been going on around here. I decided I was tired of just laying around, it's time to get up and get moving. I have recently ventured off the carpet in the living room, our floors are really slippery! I have also decided I must prefer to stand up. Whenever mommy and daddy are on the floor, I want to use them to help me stand up. I learned how to use my play table to help me up too. I am much too quick for anyone to catch me on camera. I am getting really good at walking around my play table too. Mommy and daddy love this trick. When they see me on the move, they rush to be much closer to me. Those two are so silly! Mommy promised to put up a video as soon as she can capture me on the go! Love Y'all!

what's that face for?

One night before bath, we captured all of these sweet faces. Not all of them are seen often. She was in rare form that night. It is so much fun watching her change and grow! I love all of her silly faces!
