7 Month Review

A happy traveler (this was trip #3 to Iowa)

Carter continues to eat solids 2x a day - breakfast and dinner.  She loves applesauce, pears, peaches, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, and peas. We've started giving her puffs, she's indifferent.

She is wearing 6-9 months clothes and size 2 diapers during the day, but 3 at night.

She loves faces!  She is a smiler and loves to make other people smile too.  Carter also loves looking at herself in any mirror.  

Bath time has be to one of her favorite things to do.  She takes a bath with Crosby and it's hard to tell who splashes more.  She also loves to scare mom by turning over onto her tummy while in the bath. After a recent doctor visit, we learned that she has waxy ears.  So during baths we have to use this wax remover. 

This little girl is such a blessing to us! How have 7 months already passed?

7 Months - Carter Joy

Hey everyone, guess how old I am?

I'm 7 whole months!

See?  I am so big!

I'm one happy little girl.

We are so blessed to be parents to this happy little girl.  She brings so many smiles to our faces.  Carter Joy we love you so much!

Gobble, Gobble Thanksgiving 2013

We made the trip to Muscatine, Iowa for Thanksgiving this year.  Tons of pictures were taken, so I will give you a picture highlight reel.  We are so thankful that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with family.  The girls loved seeing everyone.

6 Months - Carter Joy

Carter Joy is 6 months (on November 27th)!  This time has flown by.  We were in Iowa for Thanksgiving, so the post was going to be delayed.  

Carter had a 6 months doctors appointment and she is TALL!

Weight: 16 lbs 4 oz (55%)

Height: 28 1/4 inches (95%)

What do we know about our 6 month old little girl?

She loves:  FaceTiming with family, she's a great flyer (3 plane rides), loves to eat (solids 2x a day), makes a lot of splashes in the bath tub, riding in the car, going for walks, chewing on just about anything, looking in the mirror, being sung to, her jumperoo, her older sister

Dislikes: waiting to eat, crying it out, waking up in the middle of the night, ear infections, strangers

She looks like a totally different kid with a hat on.  She was a good sport.
