i am a costco girl

the topic of costco has come up several times over the past few days. i love costco, love it. i am a extremely proud member.
i was once naive to the idea of sams club. i thought that was the only super store out there. boy was i wrong. my sweetie of a husband introduced me to the land of costco. since that fateful introduction, i have turned my back on sams. costco is the only super store for me. my hubby has affectionately called me a costco-snob. i am not afraid to defend it.
i appreciate the wide isles, endless samples (daily, i might add), and the yummy wine selection. if you have never been to costco, or heaven forbid heard of it, you MUST check it out.
if you have any personal testimonies, tips, or must sees, post um for all of us to see.

working out

does anyone else have this struggle?

i love the idea of working out.
i love the results of working out.
i love the way you feel after a really great work out.

i just don't love getting myself to the gym.

today is a new day. so what if it is the end of january, i started again. i am proud of myself. before babies can even be discussed, some weight has to go. i have realized how much easier it is if you have a work out buddy. i need a buddy to work out with me. someone to held me accountable. maybe you, cyberspace, can be my accountability workout buddy.

i have been a card carrying member to good ol' snap fitness for 1 year. can't say i have been working out for a year, but i will be back at it. i am back at it. snap and i will become friends again.

about me

i started blogging a few years ago, i guess i just dropped the ball. at the time i was still living in mn awaiting a new chapter to being. i remember typing about an upcoming interview that i was about to have in tx. now, 3 years later i am living that new chapter out. since nearly everyone i know is a blogger, i thought i should give it another go.

a basic bio, if you will.
i am a wife to an amazing man. who, coincidently is also a teacher. we were introduced by friends just about 4 years ago. we were married on july 1, 2006 in mn in front of our family and friends. we have lived in tx now for about 3 years. it's hard to believe how fast time flies.

i have been teaching 5th grade for 3 years. i can honestly say that this is what i was made to do. i love teaching. everyday is a new adventure, every year a new start. kids truly say some of the funniest things. they make my life the adventure it is.
