God's promise

just a little reminder that He has it all under control! He is so good!

this past weekend, i traveled north to mn. the purpose of my trip was to see my great grandma helen (93) who has recently been sick. mom and i discussed and thought it was best for me to come and visit before summer. my weekend was packed full of fun and adventure. lots of time was spent catching up with old friends. in just about 48 hours i crammed two parties, two trips to the villa vista, the floodwood farm and feed swap meet, an afternoon with pam, cody, and harlee, and church. it went by crazy fast. in a weekend that i thought i would snap tons of pictures, i took two. actually, i didn't take any. (thanks auntie pam) i am so blessed to have such amazing family and friends.

yup...it's just what it looks like. tim slow-motion walking towards me. ;) this was taken in san antonio, tx on our pre-honeymoon. after our wedding in mn, we flew back to texas and headed down to the beautiful san antonio. we walked the river walk, shopped, ate at riverside restaurants, and even ventured to six flags. it was a lot of fun. looking through these photos, i realized that we didn't get a single picture of the two of us. weird! good memories, kindof a weird photo.

on march 11, my sweet baby brother turns another year older. i remember vividly going to target with dad and tabi to pick out the little outfit we were going to take you home from the hospital in. i love you ross and i am so blessed to have you in my life. i hope that your birthday is wonderful! i love you!

snow day 2.11.10

snow in texas! snow! can you believe it! school was let out early today and we just got the call that school is canceled tomorrow! yes! it's hard to believe that these were taken in texas. the most recent news cast said that we are projected to get up to 10 inches of snow! it has been snowing since 3 am and it hasn't stopped since. :)
